As I did my Christmas shopping last year, fighting through crowds, and jockeying for position in the parking lots of the malls and stores, I thought "Why didn't I just find all my gifts online?"  Well, you can indeed buy your gifts online, but you are confronted with the same old problem, "What should I give?"  I thought it would be nice if there were a type of matchmaking service for shoppers - one that would lead the shopper to gifts or gift areas according to the interests of the recipient through a series of pages.  So. . . this site was born to provide a  helpful guide for those wishing to find great gifts without investing a lot of time or effort.

Since this is a site I would like to use myself and a site that I would want all of my friends and relatives to use without worry, I have, to the best of my ability, checked store ratings and/or customer reviews of represented merchants.  If a prospective online store is known to have customer related problems (and there have been a few), their site is not represented here.
